I've been meaning to shoot you an e-mail for about a month now, and I'm finally getting around to it. I wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your disc. I was immediately drawn to Tahoe Blue because of the trip that Tyler and I took to Tahoe and because of your live performance post-wedding, but after listening to Electric Color Bars & Diamond Dreams in its entirety I have to say that I enjoy your disc fully. My personal favorites, if you care to know, are Pinwheel Eyes, Racing Stripe, Texas Hold-Em Man, Late Night Infomercial, Restless and of course, Tahoe Blue. Keep working on your music, you are very talented (no bs). Oh yeah, at one point Mallory e-mailed me a link to an online retailer that was peddling your disc . . . I obviously lost or deleted the e-mail . . . If you think of it, send me the link. I'd like to purchase a couple of more copies and also refer your disc to a few friends that I believe will fully enjoy its subtle humor (sallie mae), insightful lyrics, sweet melodies, and offbeat rhythms.
